Artist at work in a creative studio

Visual Arts Programs

Art Made in Place

Painting, printmaking, sculpture, and community practice rooted in the Galápagos

Artist creating in the Navolé studio

The Studio as Ecosystem

Navolé's visual arts programs are built around a single conviction: that making art in the Galápagos is not incidental to the work — it is the work. The islands' extraordinary ecology, its layered human history, and the tension between preservation and presence all find their way into what artists make here.

Our studio is fully equipped for painting, drawing, printmaking, and mixed media. We welcome artists at every stage — from those returning to practice after years away, to professionals seeking dedicated time and critical dialogue in an extraordinary environment.
